“Building Connections” – Part Three: Better, Connected

As you may have seen, we recently joined local business owners in Nashville at the LSA’s (Local Search Association) MarketingBitz Bootcamp. It was the perfect opportunity to chat with them about how they build connections with local consumers today. We also took to the streets to talk to Nashville residents and learn a little more about their relationship to local businesses. This became the backdrop for our three-part “Building Connections” video series.

In Part One, we focused on getting a solid understanding of how local businesses and local consumers first get connected. Then, in Part Two, we took that conversation one step further by asking local business owners and local consumers alike on what it takes for them to stay connected. In both cases, it came as no surprise that mobile plays a massive role in building these relationships.

So now, in Part Three, we’ve asked everyone interviewed to answer a pretty important question: “Why are local businesses and local consumers better off when they get connected?” Obviously, it’s a win-win situation for both, but you’ll be interested in hearing what our interviewees had to say.

Check out the video above and then take a few minutes to learn more about the many other ways YPSM helps local businesses connect –  and stay connected – with local consumers today.
